Introducing the Helan Hong Cabernet Sauvignon
Deep, dark red colour with a hint of purple. Aromas of black berries, black plums overlaid with savory cigar box, vanilla and chocolate. The palate is full-bodied, smooth and supple, good finishing with fine structure and soft powdery tannin.
The Helan Hong Cabernet Sauvignon is matured in oak barrels for 8 months before bottling.
About Helan Hong
Helan Hong is a young rising brand from Yinchuan city in Ningxia, China. The vineyard is located in Helan Jinshan International Grape Experimental Park, at east foothill of Helan Mountain, also known as “Golden zone” for vineyards as it shares same zonal latitude range with Bordeaux, France.
The sandy soil, coupled with 3000 hours of annual sunshine, altitude of 1200m above sea level and mineral rich water drawn from Yellow River using state of the art irrigation system produced good level of sugar and acidity level in its grapes.
Strongly supported by Ningxia Wine Bureau, the winery engages an international management team led by Chief winemaker, David Tyney, a reputable New Zealand winemaker for Cirro wines in Marlborough. Through respecting its unique terroir, adopting scientific planting technology and cultivating high standard practice of wine making.

Helan Hong Cabernet Sauvignon has won recognition from many sommeliers and international platform, including being listed in wine menu of United Nations’ New York Delegate Dining Room 2019.
