About IL Valentiano
Valentiano – A fusion name of Valentina and Fabiano, the Fabiano family continuing the wine passion in Montalcino which was passed down from the grandfather, Dino Ciacci, who started his farm in 1925 with a handful of cattles. Love of nature motivated him to cultivate his vineyard with great care. Valentina uses her biology expertise to implement harmonious cultivation and production.
Valentiano family vineyard is situated in the south-west side of Montalcino hill at 400 metres above sea level called Camp di Marzo. The soil is rich in iron and loam, perfect for the vines and olive trees.
The vineyard is located next to prestigious vineyard Pieve Santa Ristuta of Angelo Gaja, where they produced their Brunello “Sugarille”.
