Introducing the Churchview Silverleaf Rose
The Churchview Silverleaf Rose features Churchview’s estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are machine harvested in the coolness of the night using a selective harvester. The fruit which is picked before the remainder of the red varieties has a good acidity and offers fresh summer fruit like qualities. All fruit is certified as organically grown.
Made in the traditional European way, the fruit is crushed and then in the tank we allow a few hours of skin contact to extract just enough colour and those fresh fruit flavours. After which the wine is run off and allowed to finish fermentation. The wine is kept fresh in the tank until bottling when we will use only low levels of sulphur and no fining agents.
COLOUR Bright salmon pink.
AROMA This wine has beautiful aromas of cranberries, raspberries and strawberries.
FLAVOUR Refreshing palate with a lovely red fruit burst followed by a lengthy soft creamy flavour and off-dry finish.
Summer time just isn’t the same without Rose.
