Introducing the Garnier & Fils Chablis 1er cru “Mont de Milieu” 2019 AOC
A Premier Cru-classified limestone-rich soils located due east of Chablis town. 35 year old Chardonnay grapes undergone aging in 600 litre barrels, blended with 30% wine that has been aged in stainless steels tanks. White gold colour at full ripeness. Lime, pear, honey, mineral and unique hint of saltiness.
Good for cellaring bwtween 10 – 15 years.

Xavier and Jerome Garnier share a passion for wines whom their family has owned the 57 acre estate for decades. The Garniers tends towards a production that is environmentally friendly, moreover, nearly half the property is cultivated under an organic programme. The fermentations are carried out using only indigenous yeasts and no filtration. Together, the brothers create beautifully balanced wines, with amazing ripeness freshness and minerality.
