Introducing Churchview The Bartondale Chardonnay
CULTIVATED.
The Bartondale Chardonnay is made with Chardonnay harvested from Churchview Estate’s oldest and most consistent block. This block is favoured for producing the most intense and flavoursome fruit in the winery.
CRAFTED.
Chardonnay is handpicked for a desired flavor range of zesty lemon and nectarine.
The fruits are pressed without any additions and left to mature in specific French Oak barrels for 12 months.
CHERISHED.
COLOUR Brilliant vivid wine with light straw colour
AROMA Pink grapefruit, lime pulp and white nectarine lead the way. Lifted white floral aromas of orange blossom and jasmine adds to the fine citrus profile. Almond meal, cashew nuts, nougat and graphite minerality adds complexity Aromas are wrapped in an envelope of subtle toasty oak characters.
FLAVOUR Freshly squeezed lime with savoury almond meal, spice and subtle toasty characters in the mid palate. A beautiful long finish.
