Description

Introducing the Tukma Gran Corte

A unique wine with all the expression of a great tall wine.

The 2016 vintage of our Tukma Gran Corte was made with a blend of wine grapes. Each variety contributes its best attributes:

  • Malbec (65%) contributes all its nobility and friendliness;
  • Tannat (20%) offers its natural acidity and tannic support; and
  • Cabernet Sauvignon (15%) all the typical and expression of aromas.

The Tukma Gran Corte is aged for one year in French oak barrels which contributes subtle notes of vanilla and toasted aromas. It is characterised by its intense red color along with notes of ripe red fruit and red pepper. It is very fruity, elegant and expressive.

This blend was made with high altitude grapes from Bodega TUKMA’s vineyard in the Tolombón Valley (1700 meters above sea level) and Angastaco Valley (1900 meters above sea level) .

Vinified from the vineyard, with a selection of the best grapes, followed by a double selection table and maceration in 55 Hl vessels.
